Introduction

LED bulbs do not have a long life. We shall open it up to find out why it died.

This LED bulb is not particularly powerful. It is only 10.5W.

One of the yellow LEDs has vaporized.

It appears that the LEDs are wired in series, so when one LED vaporizes, the circuit is broken. The chain is as strong as the weakest link, as they say.
